Raw spruce logs, naturally tapered — suited to log homes, mountain modern builds, entryways, trusses, and rustic construction. Sold individually — price is per log.
These are logs in their natural state, sold as-is. Some arrive with bark on and some without, depending on the log. If you need a uniform finished surface with the bark and cambium removed, see our Hand Peeled Logs instead.

Diameter: 13–20 in in 1 in steps, then 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, and 34 in — measured at the butt (large) end
Length: 8 ft to 36 ft, in 2 ft increments
Every diameter is available in every length.
Estimated Volume
Logs taper from butt to tip, so usable volume is less than a straight cylinder at the butt diameter. Typical figures:

To estimate any other combination: cu ft ≈ 0.0055 × D² × L, where L is the length in feet and D is the average diameter in inches — take the butt diameter and subtract roughly 1 in on a mid-size log, a little more on the longest and largest.
Volumes are estimates. Every log is a natural product and individual pieces will vary in taper, sweep, and diameter.
Delivery & Pickup
Available for delivery or customer pickup. In both cases the customer is responsible for unloading — please have equipment on site capable of handling logs of the length and weight you've ordered. The largest logs in this range are heavy, so plan your equipment accordingly.
Make sure your unload area is reachable by truck and has enough room to maneuver, particularly for logs 24 ft and longer.
Ordering online was truly easy. I needed 4x12 milled and peeled logs to fix an outdoor deck. Wasatch notified me ahead when my order would be ready for pickup and there it was when I arrived. Thanks for the great service!
