Natural Edge Slabs & Mantels

One-of-a-kind natural edge slabs, milled in Utah and sold as complete boards.

Every slab is 2–3 in thick and available from 6 in to 24 in wide in lengths from 8 ft to 24 ft. Choose the edge treatment that suits the piece you are building — bark left on for full rustic character, or hand peeled for a cleaner contour. The price is the same whichever you choose.

Bark On, One Side — natural bark on one edge, square on the other. Good for mantels and shelving that sit against a wall.

Bark On, Both Sides — bark on both edges, the most rustic option. Best for tabletops and bar tops seen from all sides.

Hand Peeled, One Side — bark removed by hand from one edge, square on the other. A smoother line while keeping the natural contour.

Hand Peeled, Both Sides — bark removed from both edges. The cleanest look that still follows the tree.

Widths are nominal ranges and every slab varies naturally along its length. Thicknesses beyond 2–3 in are special order — contact the office.
